The Alerion 26 was designed by N. G. Herreshoff in 1912 for his personal use. The boat has been produced from time to time by Herreshoff Designs, Inc, Sanford Boat Company and Rumney’s Boat Yard in a couple of variations. Sanford redesigned the keel/rudder from the original design. The models shown here are the Sanford design. The original Herreshoff design will be added in addition soon.
